About the studio

A small studio with a long memory

Raging Bear Interactive is an independent games studio. We’re pre-release, building our first title and our studio at the same time — deliberately, and in the open.

We didn’t start a studio to chase a trend or flip a quick title. We started it because, between us, we’ve spent decades making games, teaching the people who make games, and watching how the industry treats both — and we believed it could be done better.

Why we exist

Better teams, better games

The games industry is brilliant at making things and terrible at looking after the people who make them. Crunch is normal. Burnout is expected. “Junior” roles ask for years of experience. Studios copy what sold last year and call it ambition.

We think that’s backwards. Great games come from teams who are rested, respected and trusted — so that’s the studio we’re building. Small, sustainable, honest about what it is and isn’t, and unwilling to burn its people to hit a date.

It’s the whole reason the studio’s name has two halves. The games matter. So do the teams that make them.

What we’re making

One game, made properly

Our first title is Wings of Valor — a stylised aerial arcade game set across a world of floating wartime islands. Think Mario Kart meets War Thunder: chunky planes, pick-up-and-play dogfighting, and a ring-racing mode for those who’d rather outrun than outgun.

We’re not going to over-promise it. There’s no launch window, no pre-order, no hype machine. There’s a small team building something we genuinely believe in, sharing the journey as we go.

Bringing people up

We come from teaching

Before this studio, we spent years training developers and artists — and many of the people we taught are now shipping games at studios you’ll have heard of. Mentoring isn’t a side project for us. It’s a habit, and it’s built into how Raging Bear works from day one.

That means real routes in for people at the start of their careers: work experience, honest mentoring, and “junior” roles that actually mean junior. We’ll have more to share on this as the studio grows — for now, it lives in everything we do.
